My Maps

The My Maps tool allows map settings to be saved for later retrieval. The map extent, selected map services, map service transparency settings , and layer visiblity will saved.

NOTE: The map saving feature uses cookies to save some information. The tool will not work properly if cookies are disabled on your browser and previously saved maps will be lost if cookies are removed.

To use the map saving feature:

In the Console, display the MyMaps item, if necessary, by clicking the down arrow for Contents .

To save a map:

Enter a descriptive map name.
To allow others to view your map, check the Save as public box.
Press the Save Map button.

To retrieve a map:

Select the map from the list. The selection should be highlighed.
To view maps that others have saved, check the View public maps box.
Press the Refresh Map button.

To delete a saved map:

Select the map to delete from the list of saved maps.

Press the Remove Map button.
